The SMT-25 Pencil Condenser Shock Mount is designed to acoustically isolate the transducer of Audix pencil-style microphones from shock, vibration and handling noise. The SMT-25 is a professional, simple-to-use shockmount system that attaches to any standard microphone stand with either 3/8″ or 5/8″ threads. The SMT-25 is provided with a 3/8″ threaded insert that allows it to be used with European-style mic stands. To use with 5/8″ mic stands, simply remove the adapter.
