The Peterson StroboClip HD (SC-HD) features a high-definition, real-time tuning display that delivers 1/10th cent (1/1000th of a semitone or fret) tuning accuracy. It comes complete with alternate temperaments for a vast array of string, brass, and wind instruments. Over 50 exclusive, preset Sweetened Tunings are onboard to help correct inherent tuning issues exhibited by many instruments. Improved Power Button and Quick Menu Navigation

Raised button switch to help quickly identify the on/off control in a dark environment or when you’re tuning quickly between songs. The side buttons enable quick up and down menu navigation while changing the concert A range, drop/capo position settings, or Sweetened Tuning presets.

Improved Clamp Width – Wider Jaw

Large, rubber padded clamp can accommodate a wide variety of headstock widths, as well as, different brass and woodwind mounting locations. The Peterson StroboClip HD has rubber-lined jaws to protect your valuable instrument’s finish while offering a firm grip for maximum signal tracking.

50 Sweetened Tunings Included

Sweetened Tunings are exclusive presets that are instrument specific – optimized tunings – designed to compensate for an instrument’s shortcomings and help increase its playability across a broader range of notes. Brighter and cleaner tones can be achieved using these proprietary Sweetened presets currently available for over 50 instrument types in the StroboClip HD. Use our presets or create your own via Peterson Connect (visit our website) and load them via USB port.

Bright, High Definition Display

Real-time tracking of the input signal from your instrument can instantaneously be seen on the StroboClip HD’s large strobe display for trouble-free monitoring of your instrument’s tuning at a distance as well as in various lighting conditions – even in direct sunlight.

Over 192 tuning segments provide an ultra high-definition display that conveys even the smallest of pitch changes allowing for an unparalleled tuning experience. Hear tonal nuances in your instrument that you never knew existed!

How Does It Work? Not familiar or never used a strobe tuner? No problem!

Every Peterson StroboClip HD strobe tuner is a genuine strobe tuner that allows you to achieve extreme tuning resolution due to the nature of its display – placing it into ‘strobe mode’ is not required. In fact, the displays inside our products provide the same tuning feedback as our renowned mechanical tuning strobes; more commonly referred to as ‘spinning wheel’ strobes.

When the Display…

• Moves to the Left – your tuning is flat.
• Moves to the Right – your tuning is sharp.
• The faster the display scrolls, the further you are from tune.
• The tuning bands will slow and begin to lock the closer you come into tune.
• When the tuning bands momentarily stop just after the attack of the note, the note is in tune.
