The Marantz Professional PHA-3 is a high-end headphone amplifier for production field work. It provides three independent headphone feeds from balanced or unbalanced sources, and can drive headphones to high levels at audiophile quality with low distortion, so it’s ideal for high SPL environments. If your other equipment�and ears�are up to the job, PHA-3 ensures you’ll hear it.

The PHA-3 features a rugged metal case and the ability to daisy-chain additional units utilizing the Loop outputs for multiple sound engineers on remote shoots.

The amplifier runs on 5-17VDC external power or you can switch to internal power utilizing two AA batteries. A dual-color power LED turns to red to indicate when 4 hours of battery life remain, so you never get caught by surprise with a dead amp at the worst moment.
